BEST PLACE TO LAY DOWN YOUR TOWEL Park near the Tybee Beach Beach and Pavilion ( Tybrisa St, Tybee Island, GA 31328) use the bridge  in front of the Tybee Island Marine Center  turn right and walk towards the rock formation close to the sand dunes. This portion of the beach has a smoother sand, lots of shallow areas that are perfect for little kids to bathe safely, is less crowded, and because it's close to the sand dunes you will see a large variety of seaside birds.

Save The Horses Camp For Girls ages 7-14


Save The Horses Camp For Girls is a camp is designed to foster the bond between children and horses in a safe, fun environment. Enjoy activities such as grooming and cleaning the horses, learning their unique diets and assisting with food preparation, the importance of hoof care, and pony rides in the arena. Daily crafts available as well.

Camp is limited to 8 campers per session. With four supervisors, the camp focuses on safety of the campers. Spend your summer at the rescue, and make lifelong friends while learning about these amazing animals! Camp is for girl ages 7 through 14 as of the date of camp. 

Session Dates:  
  • Session 1:  June 2 through 6  
  • Session 2:  June 9 through 13
  • Session 3:  June 16 through 20
  • Session 4:  June 23 through 27
  • Session 5:  July 7 through 11
  • Session 6:  July 14 through 18
  • Session 7:  July 21 through 25
  • Session 8:  July 28 through August 1                                         

Camp is Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm.  Early drop-off or late pick-up is available for an additional charge, just contact us for information.

Camp is $275 per session per camper. (All proceeds go to the Save the Horses non-profit rescue)
