Explore Georgia: Tybee Island Tips No One Tells You About

Ever wonder how can you maximize your visit to Tybee Island? We have gathered the best insider tips so you can plan a dream trip to one of the most unique places you'll ever visit. BEST PLACE TO LAY DOWN YOUR TOWEL Park near the Tybee Beach Beach and Pavilion ( Tybrisa St, Tybee Island, GA 31328) use the bridge  in front of the Tybee Island Marine Center  turn right and walk towards the rock formation close to the sand dunes. This portion of the beach has a smoother sand, lots of shallow areas that are perfect for little kids to bathe safely, is less crowded, and because it's close to the sand dunes you will see a large variety of seaside birds.

Review: Little Tart Bakeshop at Kroger Street Market

We recently visited Little Tart Bakeshop at Kroger Street Market for a quick breakfast bite. This picturesque french-inspired pastry shop run by baking whiz Sarah O’Brien offers hand-made artisan bacon-cheddar scones, crème fraiche quiche made with cheese from Sweet Grass Dairy, muscadine galettes & tarts, cookies, and the most amazing buttery almond croissants.

They make everything from scratch, by hand, with the finest local ingredients they can find. Named one of the top 10 restaurants in Atlanta by The Guardian newspaper and one of America's Best Bakeries by Travel & Leisure magazine, and featured in shows like the Layover with Anthony Bourdain and The Best Thing I ever Ate, Little Tart Bakeshop is one of those places you must visit if you are in Atlanta.

Everything they make is absolutely ahh-mazing. You go with a preconceived notion of what a good pastry should taste like, then you take a bite and you realize you have been eating really crappy baked goods, all your life. Their croissants are like nothing you have ever tasted before, and their quiches are so light, almost like a super creamy custard that melts like cotton candy in your mouth.

I often call them “Little Happiness Bakeshop”, because everything they do is not only sinfully delicious but made with so much love, the kind of love that transcends to an unbelievable product. Little Tart Bakeshop have several locations through out Atlanta. For a complete list of their amazing delectable please visit: www.littletartatl.com
