THE JOKER Chaos Coaster joins BATMAN™: The Ride and Mind Bender roller coasters in Gotham City and features: A “face-off” unique seating pattern, as the train’s twenty-four riders begin their journey. The train rocketing up seven stories high. A glide, both forward and backward, through a bedlam of loops and a suspended upside down roll, 72 feet in the air, for a ravaging thrill!

  1. Scaly Slimy SSSpectacular Zoo Atlanta New Amphibian and Reptile Experience

Get ready to explore the most ssspectacular debut in zoo atlanta history. Scaly slimy spectacular: the amphibian and reptile experience is now open at Zoo Atlanta! Home to more than 70 species, Scaly Slimy Spectacular: The Amphibian and Reptile Experience highlights Earth’s staggering diversity of reptile and amphibian life – a vibrant pageant of colors, sizes, shapes and behaviors in ecosystems representing wild places around the world. The $18-million complex is the result of 18 months of construction. The project is approximately 14,000 square feet in size. The complex’s exhibits are intended to keep the kids busy by encouraging both guided experiences and self-exploration.

  1. New Rides at LanierWorld Boardwalk
It's impossible to be bored on this boardwalk! This summer brings an exciting wave of changes that include a new restaurant, as well as 2 brand new rides! The Boardwalk is now home to Grilled Cheese Shoppe, featuring every kid's favorite sandwich: the grilled cheese. They also added 2 brand new rides to the Boardwalk: CAT4 Tube Slide, THUNDERBOLT and Triple Zips.


  1. The Fox Theatre Block Party

The Fox Theatre is not a new attraction but what's new about is that on June 7, the are throwing a massive block party for free! The block party will provide guests the opportunity to experience the magic of the Fox through live entertainment on two stages, special tours, food and drinks, activities, and prizes. Confirmed music includes Francine Reed, Bogey & the Viceroy, Orquesta MaCuba, and Tribute – A Celebration of the Allman Brothers Band. More acts will be announced closer to the event. The block party will take place rain or shine at the intersection of Peachtree Street NE and Ponce de Leon Avenue, an area that historically represents the heart of Atlanta. Both streets at the intersection will be closed to vehicle traffic; the main entrance will be at Peachtree Street NE and 3rd Street NE.   1. 1000-Foot Long Water Slide In The Middle of the City
There is a super cool event coming to the city of Decatur in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Decatur Business Association. Slide The City is a family fun day in the sun featuring a 1,000ft waterslide that will stretch down W. Ponce de Leon Avenue, from Clairemont Avenue to Ponce de Leon Place.
