Mcdonald’s Customers Raise Funds For Atlanta Ronald Mcdonald House Charities Children And Families

ATLANTA, GA – Starting May 1 through May 31, Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities (ARMHC) is encouraging Metro-Atlanta to support Lovin’ #forRMHC by visiting a participating McDonald’s restaurant and purchasing a paper Heart for $1, $3 or $5.

Proceeds from every Heart purchase will go directly to supporting ARMHC and its mission of providing temporary housing and support services to families of sick and injured children being treated at local hospitals. Last year, more than $168,000 was raised from 300 Atlanta area restaurants.

Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities offers services and programs that strengthen families of sick kids during difficult times and provides them with comfort, care and support,” said Beth Howell, President and CEO of Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities. “The continued support of McDonald’s and its customers through programs like Lovin’ #forRMHC ensures we’re able to keep families together and allow them to focus on what matters most, the healing and recovery of their child.”

For 40 years, and with the support of Mission Partner McDonald’s, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) has worked to help critically-ill children heal with their family by their side. Since 2003, the restaurant chain and its customers have helped raise more than $47.7 million nationally to help the Charity ensure children and families can cope and heal together.
