Coca-Cola 5by20 Artisan Connection Gifts Helps Empower Women Worldwide

The 5by20 artisan collection is a special line of items handcrafted by female entrepreneurs around the world. 5by20 is The Coca Cola Company’s initiative to enable the economic empowerment of 5 million women entrepreneurs by 2020. 

5by20 artisans create jewelry, handbags, notebooks, iPad covers and more from used beverage packaging – such as pull tabs, aluminum cans, glass bottles, PET and even outdated Coca Cola labels. 

Items in a range of prices are available for sale in The Coca Cola Store at the World of Coca Cola and on the store’s website. 

To do this, 5by20 uses the world's economy as a springboard to implement programs that assist women throughout Coca-Cola's network of producers, distributors, recyclers, suppliers, retailers, and artisans. In conjunction with organizations like UN Women, TechnoServe, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and International Finance Corporation, Coca-Cola has connected women with training, stronger financial services and business relationships, and essential equipment to expand their businesses and benefit their families and community.
